Meeting 13 January 2024

Introduction

This was the 127th meeting of the London Youlan Qin Society, and was held in person at SOAS. It was preceeded by the Annual General Meeting.

Annual General Meeting

Cheng yu announced that she was stepping down as active leader of the Society, and Charles Tsua was appointed to take over the day-to-day running of the society. Cheng Yu will continue to provide artistic direction.

2023 was a good year for the Society, with many successful events, including the First International Chinese Music Festival, Guqin Conference and several performances as well as our regular bimonthly yajis and Chinese music classes.
